Our commitment to safe delivery
We understand the importance of secure and humane transport for our live reptiles. Zerkle Reptile Co utilizes established and reputable shipping methods specifically designed for animals, minimizing stress and ensuring their health upon arrival. All shipments originate from our facility in Columbus, Ohio. Please keep in mind that we DO NOT WORK for the shipping companies or carriers, once the animal is out of our hands, deliveries , arrival times etc are beyond our control, we are happy to assist in facilitating delivery, but we can not control what happens to the shipment once it leaves our hands so PLEASE make sure any and all contact info and hub address is correct prior to arranging delivery.
Shipping methods and costs
We ship Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday Only Overnight FedEx Hub to Hub and weather permitting
Shipping is in the continental U.S. for priority overnight delivery. We ship Monday through Wednesday priority overnight with weather permitting (between 40F-85 F). We typically DO NOT SHIP July & August.
PAYMENT:
We accept PayPal. PayPal payments can be sent to Reptile4me@aol.com . We accept credit card payments over the phone as well as personal checks and money orders. No animals are shipped prior to checks/money orders. If you can obtain a cheaper label through a preferred carrier, feel free to reach out for box dimensions & weight, obtain you're own label and email it to us, we're happy to use it
HEALTH:
We guarantee sex, health, and genetics of all animals. Upon arrival, we ask that you check the animal over. If you notice anything is wrong please contact us immediately. If no contact has been made within 24 hours of arrival we assume you are content with the animal(s) and we no longer take responsibility for them.
Weather-Holiday dependent shipping policies
The safety of our reptiles is paramount. We closely monitor weather conditions at both our location in Columbus, Ohio, and your delivery address. Shipping may be delayed if temperatures are too extreme (below 40°F or above 80 F). We will communicate any potential delays promptly and work with you to find a safe shipping window. The safe travels for our animals is paramount. We also don't not ship on holiday weeks.
Expert packaging for their journey
Each reptile is meticulously prepared for transport. They are secured in breathable fabric bags within insulated shipping boxes, often with cool packs as needed to maintain optimal temperatures. This careful packaging ensures comfort and safety throughout their journey from our facility.
